Dr. Marco Bailon Saucedo, M.D. Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology Associate of the American Academy of Cosmetic Gynecologists I grew up in Clifton Arizona and graduated from Clifton High School in 1985. I was third to the youngest in a family of six girls and five boys. In 1990 I graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Minor in Biology. While at the U of A I attended Harvard University and studied anatomy and physiology at Harvard school of medicine. I also studied for three months at UCLA in California pre-medical studies. For an additional three months I studied at New York Medical College and as a result was accepted to medical school there. In 1995 I completed medical school and was accepted to the University of Arizona Health and Science Center Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program. I finished my program in 1999 and accepted a position from the National Health Service Corps in Nogales Arizona. Two years ago I opened my own practice in the same office as Dr. Guevara. With the support of the local community we have been very busy and we strive to provide specialty care to women. While in Nogales, I have delivered over two thousand babies and I have performed hundreds of surgeries for various female problems. My specialty in Gynecologic laparoscopic or minimally invasive surgery allows women to return to their normal activities within a few days as apposed to several weeks. We have invested in state of the art medical equipment and computer software to assist in offering comprehensive care for women. Our 4D ultrasound is one of the only Ultrasounds in the Nogales area that provides strikingly clear images of your baby and aides in detection of birth defects. Most patients use the 4D technology for pleasure photos of their baby and we put these images on DVD disks for permanent storage.
